HE the President of University of Bahrain Dr. Riyad Hamza Visit to NHRA

HE Dr. Mariam Al-Jalahmeh met with the President of the University of Bahrain HE Dr. Riyad Yousef Hamza at the headquarters of the Authority today to discuss the prospects of developing areas of joint cooperation at all levels, especially in the field of training and licensing of professionals.

 At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Riyad Yousef Hamza praised the important role played by the NHRA in regulating the health sector and the support it provides to health facilities on the basis of high quality and transparency and strengthening the leadership of Bahrain in the medical and health sectors.

Dr. Mariam Al-Jalahma welcomed the President of the University of Bahrain and praised the role of the University as an advanced educational platform. She praised the prominent role played by the University of Bahrain, especially the Faculty of Health Sciences, in which there are a number of academic programs, in the Nursing and allied health professions in the Kingdom, providing opportunities for academics to practice practical and medical skills as well as conducting advanced scientific studies and research.

 The President of the University of Bahrain, accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer, visited the various departments of the Authority to review the tasks performed by NHRA and commended the work mechanism of the licenses procedures.

 The two sides agreed to submit a proposal on a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation between the NHRA Services and the University of Bahrain in various fields.
